I have been reading a book comparing the leadership of Hitler and Churchill. Oh dear, what a mistake. Today's politicians appear to owe more to Hitler's example and techniques.

Tedium

The tone of TV and radio presenters is becoming increasingly frivolous. That is apart from the few dedicated pundits.

Tuesday

The Election is still occupying much of the news but I get the feeling that even the media is getting bored. Tired humour and cynical jokes are beginning to appear.

More than Two Weeks to Go

I have been interested in politics all my adult life. This election has so far sparked not a single emotion be it anger, dismay, scorn, enthusiasm or passion. Or is apathy an emotion?

Can I blame my advancing years or the political non-entities who are seeking my vote?
